How We Grade?
Our Grading Scale
We understand that different golfers want different balls (and most golfers want multiple balls for different reasons), so we offer our quality used golf balls in 4 different grades in order to give you exactly what you’re looking for. All of our golf balls are thoroughly washed and then sorted into grades and sold accordingly. Here is a look at our grading system and what you can expect from each category.
Mint golf balls are the best grade available grade. These balls are like new, they will show no or very little wear and will maintain the original color and sheen. These will include player markings (sharpie or felt pen), team and corporate logos. It is hard to believe they are used.
Grade A golf balls will have slightly noticeable imperfections, generally how a new ball would look after 1–3 holes of golf and will include scuff marks. There will be slight discoloration and minor cosmetic blemishes, which do not compromise the play of the golf ball. These balls will include player markings (sharpie or felt pen), team and corporate logos.
Grade B golf balls will include moderate surface blemishes, scuffs, and discoloration which will not affect the play of the ball. How a new ball would look after 9 holes of golf. These golf balls will include player markings (sharpie or felt pen), team and corporate logos. Higher grade Practice and X-OUT models may be included.
Hit Away golf balls are extremely cosmetically challenged. These balls will have major surface blemishes, major discoloration, and may even be cut or out-of-round. Will include Practice and X-OUT models. We do not recommend playing a round of golf with these but they are perfect for practice or hitting where you do not need to get them back.
